  Honest Hearted Ones

  there are certain wt terms that sound biblical but really just puff up the pride.

  hundreds of times the wt has used the term honest-hearted in their literature.

  it sounds biblical, if for no other reason because we hear it so often in jw circles.

  Another phrase would be "make the truth your own", Daniel Sydlik's pet saying and there's even a song about it. Non-biblical of course, as the truth is a person, Jesus, but most JWs would probably swear it's a scripture somewhere, because of course they think The Truth means the JW organization.

  so my grandparents got a letter from a jw.

  they have gotten these kind of letters over the years and they always give them to me and this time i got fed up and i wrote the guy back.

  just wanted to post my reply letter in case anyone could use a chuckle on a sunday morning.

  What punk said. It actually surprised me how quick the Mormons gave up here, and while there might be a few JWs that get scared off I think most would laugh it off or tell the car group but still try to talk to the householder.

  Then there's a very typical account that could be told worldwide, of the org selling a hall paid for with locally raised funds and built with love, and stealing the money:

  Then there's the experience of what might be a mother letting her daughter die from leukemia (treatable with blood), although it isn't made clear:

  Probably an r&f, elder at most. News always exaggerates just like when they describe every JW as a "devout Jehovah's Witness" just because they went to more than two meetings a year.
